I learned to appreciate the art of albums from my days working in a record store. When a new album came out, you would drop the needle, then look at the liner notes and pictures while the first song played. That's what I wanted to create with this collection of songs - blended together well and telling a story.
The inspiration for this album was driving by Bluebird Canyon in Laguna Beach for several years. After a while it grew into its own little world as I imagined new things there I hadn't seen before.
